Sometimes, families just need a listening ear, help enrolling in a program, spiritual counseling, or simply a pack of diapers, food, and clothes for their kids. Chosen Ones is committed to making sure these temporary but important needs are met so that foster parents or expectant parents can remove some unwanted stress. We are here to serve you. Our Beginnings
When CPS knocked on our founders’ door in 2005, Randy and Vickie Akins had no idea what the future held. What began as an attempt to help a child ended up being a long, scary, often unpredictable journey we were not prepared to walk alone.
Chosen Ones was born out of our own need for support and community. Our mission is to equip foster and adoptive families through Christ-centered education, connection and support so that no family will have to walk alone. In 2020, our heart grew to expand our outreach to include support for women-in-crisis pregnancies and local children in need.

- Biological Parents of Children under 36 months (3yrs)
- Guardians of Pregnant Minors
