Foster Care

Foster Care

Providing a Temporary Home, Making a Lasting Impact

Fostering is the process of providing temporary support for a child who has been removed from their home, with the goal of helping them grow to reach their full potential and break the cycle of poverty and neglect.

While Chosen Ones is not a child placing agency, we do have relationships with local adoption and foster care agencies (listed below).
We would be happy to refer you and answer any questions you may have about foster care.

Become a Babysitter or Respite Provider

Foster parenting can be very challenging and one of the hurdles they face is finding a certified babysitter to help when needed.  Becoming a babysitter or a respite provider is a great way to support foster families.  There is a consistent and ongoing need for daytime babysitters as well as overnight childcare providers.

The list of agencies that will be able to certify you as a babysitter or as a respite provider are listed below.
